The Mill is a five bedroom country cottage set in a beautiful tranquil garden overlooking the South Downs National Park, near the village of Hurstpierpoint in West Sussex.
Ideally situated for wonderful walks in and around the South Downs, The Mill is also convienient for the sea, beaches and water sports of Brighton, Hove and Shoreham.
There are lots of beautiful local walks and the garden is lovely with a great BBQ. The Mill provides lots of room and is ideal for families and groups of friends.

Built using reclaimed oak beams, The Mill comfortably sleeps 10 with 3 bedrooms with en-suites, 2 bedrooms with two separate bathrooms & a cloakroom. All bedrooms have zip and link beds and can be made up as doubles or twins, depending on your preference.
The rooms are nicely spaced out with lots of nooks and seating areas, making the house well-suited to groups made of two families.
The wonderful oak beamed lounge has a wood-burning stove in an inglenook fireplace, a television, and plenty of seating in the form of comfy sofas and armchairs. The dining room has another sitting area around an open inglenook fireplace.
The solid oak and granite fully fitted kitchen with breakfast area provides lots of space for preparing and eating your meals. There is also a mesmerising fish tank in the breakfast area of the kitchen.
The lounge leads onto the patio, overlooking a large pond and fountain (with wrought iron grill permanently in place making it safe for children). The beautiful grounds of The Mill lead to footpaths to the South Downs National Park.

We’ve thoroughly enjoyed staying in the wonderful house to celebrate my father’s 85th birthday.!
We all appreciated the space and comfort and the children loved the garden and toys inside and out.! The welcome gifts were a lovely surprise!!
We will definitely recommend the house and hosts and would love to return again in the future.!

A delightful and happy place for our family wedding celebration nearby!
